
Leather Basics Workshop

Learn the basics of hand sewing leather, the different types of leather, the most common leather working techniques, and the names of a few of Fitzy's favourite local suppliers. Make your own hand stitched leather wallet, and lanyard from one of three leather finishes: nude, caramel or black. Once you’ve learned the basics of hand sewing you’ll be able to make your simple bags, cellphone cases, and more.
**In an effort to make the space comfortable for everyone, please avoid the use of perfumes and fragrances.

MORE ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Robin Fitzsimons is the maker, designer, and founder of Fitzy. She loves to share her knowledge of craft with any maker that crosses her path. She's taught many leather working classes at locations across the GTA. Robin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture/Installation from OCAD University. She loves houseplants, bike rides, and craft beer. She lives and works in Toronto.
