What is hand lettering?

Hand lettering is basically illustrating letters. With hand lettering, each letter is carefully thought out and considered within the greater composition. It’s different from calligraphy, where basic strokes are used to form letters and words. When creating a hand lettered composition, we use the elements of design to create an impactful composition that tells a story.
