The Bicycle Collection

It all started with a series of four bicycle portraits commissioned by Switchback Cyclery, a social-purpose bike shop in downtown Toronto. (If you visit their Riverside store, you'll see the original paintings hanging proudly on their wall.) Shortly after, I designed a chalkboard art display for the Arts Market, which you can watch me draw in the video above. Ever since then, the bicycle collection has expanded quite organically. I guess being a cyclist has something to do with it.
